Troubleshooting Your PointCraft iPad

If you're experiencing issues with your PointCraft POS iPad, follow these steps to resolve the problem. If the issue persists after trying these troubleshooting methods, please submit a support ticket for further assistance.

Step 1: Restart the iPad

Press and hold the power button on the top of the iPad until the "slide to power off" message appears.

Slide the power off slider to the right to turn off the device.

Wait for 30 seconds, then press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears.


 

Step 2: Check your internet connection

  1. Ensure that your iPad is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open the Settings app and tap on "Wi-Fi."
  3. Make sure the toggle switch is turned on and that you're connected to the correct network.
  4. If you're using a cellular data connection, ensure that your data plan is active and that you have a strong signal.

Step 3: Update the PointCraft POS app

  1. Open the App Store on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Updates" tab in the bottom right corner.
  3. If an update is available for the PointCraft POS app, tap "Update."

Step 4: Clear the app cache

  1. Double-click the home button to view all open apps.
  2. Find the PointCraft POS app and swipe up to close it.
  3. Relaunch the PointCraft POS app.

Step 5: Submit a support ticket

If the issue persists after trying the above troubleshooting steps, please submit a support ticket:

  1. Visit the PointCraft Support website at www.point-craft.com/support.
  2. Click on "Submit a Ticket."
  3. Fill out the required information, including:
      1. Your business name
      2. Contact name and email address
    1. Device ID (found on the back of your iPad)
    2. A description of the issue you're experiencing
  4. Click "Submit" to send your support ticket.

Our support team will review your ticket and provide assistance as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can check the status of your ticket by logging into your PointCraft account and navigating to the Support section.
